 What is a   Radiation    Physicists?

A radiation physicist is a person who studies how radiation can be used to cure people of cancer. To be able to become one, they had to earn degrees and have a licensed registration.

   What is a Radiation Oncologist?

Radiation oncologists are the people that manage radiation therapists and are in charge of the operation. They also decide which treatment they think is best, but the patient gets to choose the final plan. To become a radiation oncologist, you have to go to school for many years and  complete a one year internship while either doing surgery or internal medicine.

What is a Radiation Therapist?

Radiation Therapists are the people who explain the treatment plans to the patient by describing possible outcomes and risks. They make sure each patient gets the right amount of radiation so they don’t get overexposed to the deadly substance. They are also responsible for locating the patient’s cancer using advanced x-rays or CT scans. Just like many other radiation jobs, they check the machines before every operation.

About Me

My name is Lauren Yanthis and I offer my services of being a medical physicist. I have over 10 years of medical experience. This is because I was working at memorial care for ten years, before leaving for personal reasons. “I can also make plans?” I will work in any state in…?

I studies medical physics at Cornel and Duke before getting a job at Memorial Care Hospital. While being at school, I got A’s and was able to graduate with great grades…

I am a single parent of two children (Mekhi, 13, and Yasmin, 14) and three pets. I am able to keep everything under control because I’m a great multi-tasker, just like am at my job. I also find time in my schedule to do things I like to do like go a vacations and hang out with my friends and family.
